10.2015 | The MicroModal yarn

MicroModal® Edelweiss is one of the very finest fibers of Lenzing. We utilize this fine raw material in the modern facilities of our European spinning mill, in order to produce MicroModal yarns for customers with high softness requirements! It is a fiber made of European beechwood and is completely natural. It is CO₂ neutral and produced at the Lenzing site in Austria. Edelweiss stands for a “symbiotic” production process – pulp, the raw material, is produced at the same site as the Micromodal fiber itself.

The fabric of Micromodal is naturally soft and lightweight, presenting a silky and smooth flow. That unique flow, tied with the high color brilliance offers perfect fineness and a highly appealing textile like you have never seen before! All that while retaining its botanic sheen and dimensions after many washings.

We offer upon request yarns on dyeing tubes, compact yarns, S-twist and multi-ply yarns, ready to meet each and every need in counts from Ne 24/1 to Ne 80/1.
